Detailed itinerary for 10 Day Safari

Accommodation: Horizon Hotel | Meal Plan: Half Board

Welcome to Uganda! Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our representative will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. Relax by the pool or rest from your journey. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and your Spanish-speaking guide’s briefing on the adventure that awaits you.

Accommodation: Pakuba Safari Lodge | Meal Plan: Full Board

We will drive north toward Murchison Falls. We will make a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track southern white rhinos on foot alongside a ranger. After a hot lunch en route, we will continue to the park to witness how the Nile forces its way through a narrow 7-meter gorge before falling 43 meters into the void.

Accommodation: Sambiya River Lodge | Meal Plan: Full Board

We will start early with a morning game drive conducted by our company in search of lions, leopards, elephants, and giraffes. In the afternoon, we will take a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to the base of the falls to observe huge herds of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and vibrant birdlife.

Accommodation: Hoima Cultural Lodge | Meal Plan: Full Board

We will venture into Kaniyo Pabidi, in the Budongo Forest, for chimpanzee tracking. We will walk beneath century-old mahogany trees to locate and spend an unforgettable hour observing a community of wild chimpanzees. Afterwards, we will drive through local villages and tea plantations toward Hoima.

Accommodation: Irungu Forest Lodge | Meal Plan: Full Board

We will enjoy a scenic journey south along the Albertine Rift Valley, contemplating the Rwenzori Mountains. We will make a dedicated stop at the Equator line in Kikorongo for photographs and geographical demonstrations. In the afternoon, we will venture into the Kasenyi plains for a sunset game drive in search of predators and large herds of Ugandan kob antelopes.

Accommodation: Topi Lodge | Meal Plan: Full Board

We will set out at dawn for a game drive across the Queen Elizabeth savanna. In the mid-morning, we will embark on a scenic boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel to spot one of the world’s largest concentrations of hippos and elephants on the shore. In the afternoon, we will transfer south, entering the remote Ishasha sector to settle into our wildlife lodge.

Accommodation: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge | Meal Plan: Full Board

We will explore the routes of the Ishasha sector in search of the famous tree-climbing lions, known for resting on the branches of giant fig trees. After lunch en route, we will ascend toward the highlands and misty forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, checking in for an evening of rest before the big hike the next day.

Accommodation: Keije Resort Bunyonyi | Meal Plan: Full Board

The most anticipated day! We will venture into the dense rainforest with expert trackers. Once the gorilla family is located, you will spend a magical hour just a few meters from these gentle giants. Afterwards, we will transfer to the serene, island-dotted waters of Lake Bunyonyi to relax.

In the afternoon, visit the Gorilla Guardian Village, a living cultural experience center. Learn about traditional Rwandan life, enjoy local music and dance, and see how the country protects both its nature and its cultural roots. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Hyena Hill Lodge | Meal Plan: Full Board

Enjoy a relaxing morning boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi to learn about its history and local legends. Afterwards, we will travel to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savanna park, to enjoy an evening surrounded by the sounds of African nature.

Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch

Experience nature on foot on a morning safari guided by an armed ranger. You will be able to get uniquely close to zebras, giraffes, and impalas without the noise of an engine. We will begin the return to Entebbe or Kampala, stopping at the Equator line for souvenir shopping before your nighttime international flight.
