Enjoy a delightful lunch at the sanctuary’s restaurant before continuing your journey to the national park.
Visit the Murchison falls to enjoy the breathtaking views and a great sound of the Murchison Falls as it squeezes itself through the narrow gorge that is only 7-8 meters wide and then fall at 45 meters into the pool that create a strong, thunderous sound that is so lovely.
Murchison Falls National Park is the oldest and largest national park in Uganda, covering an area of 3893 sq. km with savannah and tropical forest vegetation. It is home to 76 mammal species and 451 bird species, making it an ideal place for maximizing wildlife sightings such as lions, leopards, elephants, Nubian giraffes, warthogs, hippos, Nile crocodiles, several antelope species, and many primates like patas monkeys, chimpanzees, and olive baboons. After the checking in the park, return to the lodge for an overnight stay.

After experiencing the beauty of Murchison Falls National Park, drive to Kibale Forest National Park for a chimpanzee tracking experience. While in Kibale National Park, you’ll encounter various primate species such as black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, olive baboons, grey-cheeked mangabeys, L’hoest’s monkeys, and red colobus monkeys. The park is also home to forest elephants, some antelopes, and boasts 370 bird species, including the 23 Albertine Rift endemics.
On your way to Kibale Forest National Park, enjoy the spectacular views of tea estates and several forests where olive baboons parade alongside the roads. The legendary Rwenzori Mountain forms a mystic backdrop to the beautiful volcanic landscape. Make a stopover in Fort Portal City for lunch before continuing your journey to check in at your booked lodge for an overnight stay.
