On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our company representative and your English driver guide for your transfer to Kampala city or Entebbe to check-in at your reserved hotel, briefing about your 13 Days Best Of Uganda Wildlife Safari, dinner and an overnight.

After indulging in a delicious breakfast, your Ugandan adventure commences as you journey northwest toward Masindi and the expansive Murchison Falls conservation area. This vast expanse is a tapestry of breathtaking landscapes, from the sweeping grassland acacia savannah in the north to the lush tropical forests in the south.

Your first stop is a nature walk at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a vital breeding project dedicated to the preservation of the endangered white rhinos in Uganda. Here, amidst the sanctuary’s natural habitat, you’ll have the extraordinary opportunity to observe these majestic creatures up close as they roam freely. Enjoy a delightful lunch at the sanctuary’s restaurant before continuing your journey to the national park.

Arriving at Murchison Falls National Park,visit the Murchison falls to enjoy the breathtaking views and a great sound of the Murchison Falls as it squeezes itself through the narrow gorge that is only 7-8 meters wide and then fall at 45 meters into the pool that create a strong, thunderous sound that is so lovely. Check into your lodge where you’ll be treated to a sumptuous dinner and a restful overnight stay, surrounded by the tranquility of the wilderness.  Awaken at 6 am for an exhilarating day in the heart of nature. Start with a quick coffee and snack to energize, grab your packed breakfast, and hop into your safari vehicle for an early morning game drive safari. The dawn hours offer prime opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife, including nocturnal animals and predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas in their active state. Keep your camera ready to capture antelope species, giraffes, buffaloes, and the abundant Nubian Giraffes that call Murchison Falls National Park home.

After a brief breakfast break, continue the game drive until 11:30 am with your knowledgeable safari guide, who will enrich your experience with insights into the diverse wildlife you encounter. Return to your lodge for relaxation and lunch, before embarking on a 3-hour afternoon boat cruise safari on the Nile starting at 2 pm from Paraa. Cruise upstream to witness Nile crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of aquatic bird species. Along the riverbanks, spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and waterbucks quenching their thirst in the afternoon heat.

Following the boat cruise, enjoy a leisurely evening at the lodge before heading out for a night game drive safari. After enjoying a hearty breakfast and loading your bags into the safari vehicle, embark on a leisurely drive through the park, soaking in the natural beauty that surrounds you. After immersing yourself in the splendor of Murchison Falls National Park, continue your journey to Kibale Forest National Park for an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for various primate species such as black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, olive baboons, and Grey-cheeked mangabeys. The park also boasts forest elephants, antelopes, and an impressive array of bird species, including the coveted Albertine Rift endemics.

As you traverse the scenic route to Kibale Forest National Park, be treated to spectacular views of tea estates, lush forests teeming with wildlife, and the majestic Rwenzori Mountain looming in the distance. Take a break in Fort Portal City for a delightful lunch before continuing your journey to check in at your booked lodge for a restful overnight stay.

Prepare for an extraordinary chimpanzee trekking adventure as you wake up and enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading to the park’s information center for essential briefing on the rules and regulations of chimpanzee trekking. Safety measures are crucial for both your well-being and the welfare of these remarkable primates. Embark on a forest walk in search of chimpanzees and other forest primates such as L’Hoest monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabeys, blue monkeys, and olive baboons. Keep an eye out for diverse wildlife like forest elephants, bush pigs, and buffaloes, along with a variety of bird species including little greenbuls, Ross turacos, and great blue turacos.

Chimpanzees, our closest relatives sharing 98.8% of human DNA, offer a fascinating glimpse into our evolutionary past. Uganda, home to these incredible creatures, provides unparalleled opportunities for chimpanzee viewing year-round. Kibale National Park boasts a population of over 1500 chimpanzees, making it a premier destination for chimpanzee trekking globally. The forest walk to locate these primates can vary from 30 minutes to 4 hours due to their agile nature and constant search for food.

Upon encountering the chimpanzees, you’ll have a precious hour to observe and photograph them, guided by knowledgeable park staff who offer insights into the forest and its inhabitants. After your chimpanzee encounter, receive a certificate of completion at the park information center before enjoying lunch either in the park or back at your lodge. Conclude your day with a rewarding community walk in Bigodi for experiences like African homesteads, Banana bonga products, chimpanzee robusta coffee experience, traditional healers/doctors, handcraft making (ladies weaving baskets and cultural dances), cultural weddings, iron smith, and milking experiences. After a relaxed breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Queen Elizabeth national park is one of the most popular national parks in Uganda because of its diverse ecosystems such as sparkling lakes, humid forest, sprawling savanna and fertile wetlands which attracts many wildlife species such as birds and mammals to it their home. This park is also well-known for the Kazinga channel and harboring the tree climbing lions in Ishasha sector. Before checking into your booked lodge, visit Katwe community known for its major economic activities like Fishing on lake Edward and Salt mining on Katwe Salt lake. Your local guide will give deeper about salt minig and take you through the Traditional mining process  of salt pan and salt rock mining from the lake, the salt grades. Drive to your booked lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Today in the morning,enjoy your coffee and head to the park to start your morning game drive to search for wildlife on Kasenyi plains. The common sightings here are; Caped Buffaloes, Elephants, Warthog, Waterbuck, Uganda kob, Lions, Hyena, leopards and so much more including a variety bird species. Retire from your game drive to relax,have lunch and depart for your afternoon adventurous boat safari on the famous Kazinga Channel. The Kazinga Channel contains the highest concentration of hippopotamuses in Africa, big number of Nile crocodiles and it is a glory place for birders to enjoy most to see hundreds and hundreds of birds on the shore of the channel. Also expect to see a number of other big and small mammals on the shores quenching their thirty and swimming such as Elephants, Buffaloes, and Antelopes. After enjoying your adventurous boat safari,have a short break to relax and depart for your evening game drive that will be focusing at searching for the big predators of the park such as Lions, Leopards, Spotted hyenas and others. After having breakfast at the lodge, your guide will drive you to the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park Ishasha sector for the search of the famous tree climbing lions found only in Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda with 4 prides, Lake Manyara in Tanzania with 2 prides and the Kruger National Parkin South Africa.

You will have an opportunity to spot more bird species since Queen Elizabeth has the highest number of bird species 612 species. Also view more animals like the topis , Defassa water bucks, Elephants, Buffaloes, Uganda kobs. After have lunch and relax waiting to be served dinner and overnight stay.

On this day, have breakfast and leave Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park via Ishasha sector for your mid-morning game drive to search for the tree climbing lions and other missed animals during your previous game drive. Then continue with your drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park – home to the remaining half mountain gorillas in the world.

Embark on an extraordinary mountain gorilla trekking adventure by starting your day early, dressed appropriately in long trousers, a long-sleeved shirt, waterproof hiking shoes, a jacket, a hat, and gloves to combat the forest’s unpredictable weather. After a fulfilling breakfast, gather your packed lunch and meet your safari guide for a pre-trek briefing at the park information center. Here, you’ll learn essential Dos and Don’ts, expectations, and the code of conduct while in the presence of the majestic gorillas.

Accompanied by a group of eight individuals, you’ll be assigned a specific gorilla family to track, with armed rangers and a knowledgeable guide leading you through the forest in search of these gentle giants. The duration of the trek can vary from 45 minutes to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location and movements. Mental and physical preparedness is crucial for traversing the challenging terrain, with the option to select a family closer to your fitness level for a more enjoyable experience.

As you explore the forest, encounter diverse wildlife such as forest elephants, L’Hoest monkeys, baboons, and a variety of forest birds, including the endemic Red-throated Alethe. Your guide will offer valuable insights into this rich ecosystem, enhancing your understanding of the environment. Upon meeting your assigned gorilla family, spend an hour observing and photographing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.

Remember to maintain a respectful distance, avoid direct eye contact, and remain calm in the presence of the silverback. After your enriching encounter with the gorillas, return to the starting point to receive your trekking certificate as a token of appreciation for your contribution to gorilla conservation. This park is well known for zebras, impalas, antelopes, kobs, bushbucks, and you will enjoy an evening game drive to spot wild animals.

Wake up and prepare yourself for a thrilling morning game drive. After enjoying a hearty breakfast, venture into the park to observe a variety of animals, including zebras, waterbucks, impalas, Nubian giraffes, buffaloes, common elands, hyenas, and if luck is on your side, perhaps even leopards.

Following the morning game drive, return to your lodge for a delicious lunch before embarking on the afternoon boat cruise. As you glide along the water, keep your eyes peeled for aquatic birds such as the Papyrus gonolek, herons, and Hammerkops.

After the boat cruise, head back to your lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

After enjoying your breakfast, ensure your bags are loaded onto the vehicle as you prepare to embark on your journey to Entebbe International Airport. Along the way, you’ll stop for lunch and have a chance to visit the Kayabwe Equator point for photos and a water experiment. Finally, conclude your trip with your departure from Entebbe International Airport.
